Vetting and recruitment processes

All vacancies are open to British and Commonwealth citizens or European Economic Area (EEA) nationals. All applicants for employment in the Force must have resided continuously in the UK for the past three years and have no time limit on their stay in the country.

We are committed to providing our personnel with a safe environment in which to work. Therefore all applicants are vetted for security reasons, substance abuse and financial (credit) stability.
