Lyne and Longcross residents invited to Neighbourhood Panel meeting
Residents of Lyne and Longcross are being invited to attend the next neighbourhood panel meeting when the policing priorities for the area will be decided.
Neighbourhood Specialist Officer (NSO) for Lyne and Longcross, PC Anita Clark and Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Nichola Brumell will be hosting the meeting on Tuesday 16 March at Lyne Village Hall, Lyne Lane, from 6.30pm - 7.30pm.
Neighbourhood Panels are informal meetings which give residents the opportunity to meet their Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) and Neighbourhood Specialist Officer (NSO) and vote on the issues they are most concerned about in their community. The issues they vote for will then be the priorities which the neighbourhood policing team to look at ways of tackling over the following weeks.
At the last neighbourhood panel meeting local residents voted the current Lyne and Longcross priority issue to be inappropriate parking around Lyne and Longcross School. The Neighbourhood team are asking residents to come along to the next meeting so they can feedback updates on this and other issues.
Neighbourhood Specialist Officer, PC Anita Clark said, Neighbourhood Panel Meetings have been set up to give residents and businesses the opportunity to tell the Neighbourhood Team what they think is the most significant policing problem in their community and to get advice from us.”
