Burglaries in Limpsfield
Detectives investigating three burglaries in Limpsfield believe they could be linked.
The first burglary occurred in Kent Hatch Road sometime between 9.30pm on Tuesday, 20 July and 3.30am on Wednesday, 21 July. The suspect entered the property through a window and took a bag containing keys, clothing and various cards. The keys were later found near-by.
The second incident happened between midnight and around 2.35am on Thursday, 22 July in Sandy Lane when two bags containing keys, bank cards and mobile phones were taken. The third burglary took place at 11am on Monday, 26 July, again in Kent Hatch Road. This time items stolen included an X Box 360 games console, a laptop, a man's gold watch, a Sony camcorder and an Ipod.
A male suspect was seen shortly before the third incident. He is described as being between 14 and 20 years old and around 5ft 10” tall. He was wearing a grey hooded top, with the hood up, grey tracksuit bottoms and was carrying a blue knapsack and a square rucksack.
Detective Constable Dave Sprague said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was in Kent Hatch Road or Sandy Lane and surrounding area on any of the days these crimes were committed and may have seen something suspicious, to come forward with their information.
“We are targeting burglars and handlers of stolen goods and with your help we can reunite the victims with their belongings.”
