New Haw & Woodham

I joined the Runnymede Borough Policing Team of Officers 6 years ago and have taken up the Neighbourhood Specialist Officer's reins for the wards of New Haw and Woodham. I am a retired Gurkha soldier of 20 years, speak four languages and it is with much pleasure to inform you I have now forged excellent links and close working relations with the community, especially youngsters and partner agencies to resolve local issues which are a priority for the neighbourhood. I provide reassurance, carry out high visibility patrols and relentlessly pursue criminals in order to keep my community safe and well. Furthermore, I request your invaluable ongoing support in order to achieve these aims and together we will crack it!! I look forward, with much enthusiasm, to meeting you all during my ground rounds.

I joined Surrey Police and became part of the Safer Neighbourhood team in January 2010. I enjoy helping people and being involved with the local community. My role includes high visibility patrols in New Haw and Woodham and talking to residents of all age groups about issues they may have in the area. We endeavour to keep levels of crime and anti social behaviour low around our community. The rapport with the community and partnership agencies has had great results and we hope with your ongoing support we can keep these levels low and your community safe. There are panel meetings at regular intervals so you can come and speak to either PC Shrestha or myself at your convenience or you can ring, email, or stop me in the street.
