Parking and driving offences are a major concern for the residents of New Haw and Woodham. Locations of particular concern are Queen Mary’s Drive, Wendley Drive, The Avenue and The Broadway New Haw. It is perceived that whilst parents are dropping off and picking up their children they are parking and driving in an inconsiderate manor. Offences raised include parking across people’s driveways, parking on corners, over safe crossing points and on the roundabouts down The Broadway
Parking on the pavement outside the parade of shops on Woodham Lane between the black bollards and the kerbside has also been raised.
