Meet your Neighbourhood Commander Craig Knight

I work with local communities and partners to ensure that crime and disorder in Epsom remains low.

Supporting me in this aim, I have a Safer Neighbourhood Team dedicated to each neighbourhood, comprising Neighbourhood Specialist Officers (NSOs) and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). In turn, I have the local resources of a Casualty Reduction Officer, a Crime Reduction Officer, a Licensing Officer and two Youth Officers.

As a result of the substantial savings that Surrey Police has made through the closure of un-economic police buildings and collocation with local authorities we have been able to recruit more proactive police officers.

Currently we are targeting the persistent issues raised by you such as anti-social use of motor vehicles and anti-social behaviour. We are, of course, tackling a wider range of more serious crime and disorder issues, such as drug abuse, burglary and motor vehicle theft. And we are keeping Epsom town centre safe at the weekends.
