Neighbourhood Sergeant North Mole Valley

I am the Mole Valley Neighbourhood Sergeant for the north of the Mole Valley area, including Leatherhead, Ashtead, Leatherhead North, Bookham and Fetcham. My role is to oversee the activities of the Neighbourhood Specialist Officers to ensure that we respond appropriately to the needs and concerns of the community, while continuing to reduce and detect crime.

I joined Surrey Police in 1988 at Woking and after five years there and a spell on the traffic department, I have been working as a Sergeant on the Eastern side of the county. I have undertaken a wide variety of roles including custody officer, response team sergeant, and Redhill area sergeant. Prior to taking over at Leatherhead I was in charge of the Mole Valley Borough Support Team for 2 years. I have been the NSO Sergeant at Leatherhead since September 2005, and I hope that my experiences will help the team to continue to deliver an excellent service to our diverse communities.
