After serving in the Royal Navy I joined the Metropolitan police in 1991 and initially stationed at Croydon, Peckham and the Territorial Support Group.

I was then fortunate enough to be selected to join Surrey Police in 2000 where I have been employed in many roles including response team duties. I was also responsible in starting the East Surrey missing person team and the Anti Social Behaviour team. It was here that I realised the importance of Neighbourhoods and establishing how they wanted to be policed. I am lucky enough to manage both police officers and police community support officers who are all dedicated to their areas. As a team we are committed to delivering a high quality of service to our residents and aim to work with you to solve community issues. As a Safer Neighbourhood Team Sergeant I am responsible for ensuring your Neighbourhood is policed in a manner that best serves both your needs and that of your Neighbourhood.
