Woking Neighbourhood Sergeant

Hello, my name is Mark Bridge and I am your local Neighbourhood Police Sergeant.

I have worked for Surrey Police for 20 years in various roles and I now have the pleasure of working as part of your local policing team. The team consists of 3 Police Officers, 6 Community Support Officers and a Team Co-ordinator.

My role is to deal with local ongoing issues, to tackle crime and all forms of anti social behaviour. I work in partnership with other agencies, including Woking Borough Council and Surrey County Council in an effort to solve local problems.

I would encourage you to attend your local "Panel Meetings" which are held regularly in your area. This gives you the opportunity to highlight any concerns you may have and we, the Police along with our partner agencies will endeavour to tackle these problems.

I hope that with your help we can build on the strong foundation that already exists in the field of Community Policing.

Please feel confident to approach any of your local neighbourhood team as we are part of the Community and keen to work with you. I am strongly committed to Community Policing as I regularly see the benefits that this style of Policing brings to Communities.
