Actions taken on your neighbourhood priorities and general updates
Update: 16/07/2010 19:57:54
Horton Lane
You Said
This is an ongoing neighbourhood priority. With the warmer weather, there has been an increase of complaints about cars gathering and driving in an anti-social manner.
We Did
This is being monitored and actioned by patrols. We ask residents to phone at the time of any anti-social behaviour in order that we can help deter the problem.
The Wells
You Said
Youths are congregating within The Greenway causing a nuisance.
We Did
Patrols will be increased, please phone problems in at the time they occur so these small groups of people can be dealt with.
Please could residents in College Road and Albert Road areas report any suspicious people or vehicles as there have been some reports of anti-social behaviour.

Profile: I started my police career in London and have worked for Surrey Police for the last three years. For two years I have been working as a Neighbourhood Specialist Officer at Epsom covering Court Ward and West Ewell Wards. This was a busy area to cover and I enjoyed working this area and have achieved many good results there. I thank all the people who I have worked with for this area and the Police Community Support Officers who also worked with me.
I look forward to meeting residents of my new patch and please feel free to phone myself or one of the Safer Neighbourhood Team. I am commited to improving your community by solving and helping with topical local issues. Feel free to stop and talk to me when you see me out on patrol.
Local meetings can be arranged where relevant issues can be discussed and action plans can be made. Myself or a member of the team are happy to visit local events and schools, clubs etc to say hello and meet people.

Neighbourhood priorities
Horton Lane - Antisocial Driving - EP/09/1599
The main priority for the area is antisocial speeding around Horton Lane.
Inconsiderate driving and riding is taking place and the police are now taking positive action against those that offend in this area.
Dorking Road - Antisocial Parking and Driving - EP/09/4292
As raised by residents at the recent Woodcote, College and Stamford panel meeting it has been brought to our attention that residents are concerned with parking and speeding issues on Dorking Road. The team is already implementing tactics to deal with the issue and will work closely with Parking Wardens and the Roads Policing Unit to resolve these issues.
Junction of Treadwell Road and Downs Road - Antisocial Driving - EP/09/5295
At the recent Woodcote, College and Stamford panel meeting traffic issues have been raised with regards to the junction of Treadwell Road and Downs Road. Surrey County Council are working with the Police to resolve these issues.
