Actions taken on your neighbourhood priorities and general updates
Update: 22/07/2010 11:58:28
Actions taken on your neighbourhood priorities
Our latest Neighbourhood Panel Meeting was held on Wednesday, 21st July at the United Reform Church in Bluehouse Lane. Four members of the public attended.
PC Richard Smurthwaite gave an overview of like for like crime figures a year on. Feedback was also provided on previously raised concerns.
No new neighbourhood priorities were raised, although the issue of anti-social behaviour around Mill Lane was raised. We gave feed back on latest results around NI TD/10/2393
The next panel meeting will be for Hurst Green residents at The Community Hall, Pollards Oak Road, Tuesday 24th August from 8.00-9.00pm.
General update
I would like to update on our Neighbourhood Issue TD/10/2393 which relates to anti-social behaviour in and around Hurst Green, in particular the Mill Lane sports field.
Your local Oxted Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team has taken a robust stance with this issue and already have a number of positive results.
We are currently awaiting a Court date for a male that has been charged with Criminal Damage at the skate ramp. We are also waiting for the courts decision on how to deal with a male charged with Public order and careless driving offences.
Our actions have resulted in a reduction of calls to us reporting anti-social behaviour, however we do not feel our work is yet done and would encourage residents to call us with any incidents of anti-social behaviour.
Please try to call us as quickly as possible after the event. Make a note of the descriptions of the persons involved and any related vehicle indexes. What have they done, which direction have they moved off in?
You can contact us on 0845 125 2222 for non emergency incidents.

Outside of work I am a Land Rover fanatic, love travelling and consider myself a bit of a foodie.
