Actions taken on your neighbourhood priorities and general updates
Update: 10/11/2009 16:22:43
Actions taken on your Neighbourhood Priorities
Anti Social Behaviour
We continue our regular patrols on St Johns Lye as it remains a neighbourhood issue - and as a result we have seen a decrease in anti-social behaviour there.
If there are any priorities or areas you feel we should pay particular attention to, please email one of the team to put forward your suggestions. Meanwhile, we continue our daily foot patrols in the area, so please approach us for a friendly chat or to discuss any issues or concerns that we can help you with.
General update
Postal Scam
We would like to bring to your attention a scam that has been verified by the Royal Mail.
A card is posted through your letterbox from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) stating that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to call them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER. If you do, and begin to hear a recorded message, you will already have been charged £15 for the call.
If you do receive a card with these details, please contact Royal Mail fraud on 020 7239 6655 or ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator) at www.icstis.org.uk
Community Speed Watch: volunteers please
We are still looking for more volunteers to join Community Speed Watch in the area. If you would like to get involved or would like to know more about this very effective scheme, please contact a member of the Mount Hermon, St Johns, Hook Heath, Mayford and Sutton Green Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Thank you.

I look forward to meeting you all in time and encourage you to make contact if you have any issues you feel I may be able to help with.
If you see me in the street please stop and say hello. When I'm not at work I can be found walking my dog or with my horse who I compete in jumping, eventing and dressage.
