Keeping Safe

Domestic Abuse
Domestic abuse is a crime, and can happen within any type of relationship. If you're a victim, it's difficult to know who to turn to. We offer advice on what you can do, how to keep safe, and what to do if there are children involved. Read more about domestic abuse here.
Vulnerable Adults
A vulnerable adult is someone aged 18 or over who may need or receives community care services due to disability, age or illness, or who is unable to protect themselves from significant harm or abuse.
Alcohol And Drugs

Hate Crime
Hate crime is a particularly repugnant form of crime due to the distress it causes both victims and the wider community, and can sometimes be difficult to recongnise.
