Car used to ram Co-Op in Rowledge - did you see anything?
We received reports of people attempting to break into the Co-Op in Rowledge near Farnham at approximately 4.40am this morning (14 February). A silver car is believed to have been used to ram the building, causing damage to a side wall. Our investigation is ongoing.
Waverley Borough Acting Sergeant Aaron Arnold-Phillips said “Based on the calls we received from witnesses and the damage caused to the building, this was an attempt to break in and steal the cash point machine in the store.”
“It was early in the morning and in a rural area, so we are keen to talk to anyone who may have seen a suspicious silver car with considerable damage driving in and around Rowledge.”
