UPDATE: Further CCTV released in connection with robbery in Redhill last Tuesday.

Officers investigating a robbery at a shop in Bletchingley, have released CCTV footage to help identify the person shown.

The incident took place last Tuesday (23 January), at around 8:15pm, at The Village Store on the High Street.

DC Nicola Dell, who is investigating the case said: “The suspect, believed to be a man, entered the store and threatened the member of staff demanding cash before leaving towards Church Lane. He is described as holding what appeared to be a blue handgun wrapped in a bin bag.

“The suspect is described as 5ft 4 inches tall, slim build, wearing blue jeans, white trainers and a dark blue jacket.”

“We are keen to identify the man from the CCTV images as this was a terrifying ordeal for the victim, who fortunately was not hurt.
