Did you witness the robbery of a car in Addlestone yesterday?

We are appealing for witnesses after the robbery of a car in Addlestone yesterday (12 April).

At around 3pm on Chapel Park Road, two men approached the victim while in his car and threatened him with a pointed weapon before driving away in his car. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The vehicle was found abandoned nearby and the suspects were located nearby the scene.

Two men, both in their 30s, from Addlestone have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

Detective Sergeant Kate Hyder of North Criminal Investigation Department said: “This is a serious incident but it is believed to be isolated with no further risk to the public.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything so please get in contact with us.”
