Efit and CCTV images released in connection with burglaries in the Woking area
We’re looking for information to identify a man who may have information for us about a number of burglaries in the Woking area. An e-fit has been produced of a man who was disturbed by a resident going to work at approximately 8:30am on 24 July when he was spotted looking through a neighbour’s window in Park Road, near Old Woking Road. When challenged he asked for the time before leaving.
The man is described as white, age 20-25 years of age, with short blonde hair and wearing a black jacket and jeans.
Later that morning, just before midday, the resident received a call from a member of her family to say that they had woken up to find that the house had been burgled whilst they were asleep with jewellery, watches and small electrical items stolen.
This incident is being linked with an overnight burglary at an address on Guildford Road on 30 July. Access to the first floor property was gained via the balcony and the patio door. A wallet containing cash and cards was stolen, but the cashless wallet was later found discarded in a flower bed. A motion sensor camera was triggered at 4:30am and a man wearing a balaclava was captured on CCTV.
On 9 August, a balaclava-clad man was seen outside a property on Mount Hermon Road at 4:15am. The occupants later reported that their property had been accessed by climbing onto a flat roof and in through an open window. A number of electrical items were stolen.
