UPDATE: Man remanded in custody after being charged with the rape of a teenage girl in Cobham

Officers have charged a man with the rape of a teenage girl in the toilets to the rear of the British Legion on Hollyhedge Road, Cobham on Thursday, 22 August.

Alex Cadwell, 20-years-old, from Greenacres Avenue in Uxbridge was arrested shortly after the incident was reported to police.

He appeared at Staines Magistrates Court this afternoon (18 October) and has been remanded in custody and will next appear at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, 15 November.

He has been charged with nine offences including rape of a female under 16, possession of indecent images of children, meeting a child following grooming, attempting to incite a child to commit a sex act and attempting to have sexual communication with a child.
