We’re appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died following a collision on the A217 Brighton Road, Burgh Heath last night (23 December).
Officers were called to the scene at approximately 11:50pm following reports of a collision involving two vehicles, a Blue Mercedes-Benz A200, a White Toyota Verso.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz, a man in his 30s, was sadly declared deceased at the scene, his next of kin have been informed.
The driver and the passenger of the Toyota were taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The road was closed while officers conducted investigations at the scene, all roads have now fully opened.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who saw what happened or who may have dashcam footage of the incident. Anyone with information which could assist with our enquiries, or has dashcam footage, is asked to contact us on 101, quoting incident reference PR/45190137770.
