Witness appeal following serious assault in Farnham

We’re appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old man was stabbed in the area of Weydon Lane at around 5.30pm today (14 November).
The victim was walking towards the footbridge when he was approached by the suspect who stabbed him in the stomach.
Paramedics attended to the victim at the scene and he is in a stable condition in hospital.
A cordon remains in place at the scene whilst officers carry out enquiries.
DS Jo Smith said: “We’d like to urge anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time or anyone who may have information about this incident to get in touch with us straightaway. I understand that this incident is concerning to the local community and I’d like to reassure residents that we are doing everything we can to find who is responsible. Residents should stay alert to any suspicious behaviour and report anything, no matter how minor, to 101.”
