Motorcyclist seriously injured following collision in Caterham

We are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Caterham last night (4 March), which left a motorcyclist with life-changing injuries.
The collision, involving a silver Yamaha motorcycle and a black Volkswagen Passat estate car, occurred around 8.20pm in William Road at the junction with Coulsdon Road. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, particularly anyone with any dashcam footage of either of the vehicles being driven around 8.15pm prior to the incident, to get in touch with us straightaway. Please contact us quoting reference PR/P22047243 via:
