UPDATE: Fatal collision in Shepperton

A second man who was involved in a collision in Laleham in February has sadly died.
The collision, involving a scrambler-type motorcycle and a blue BMW, took place around 5.55pm on 21 February in Shepperton Road near the car park for the play area.
Despite the efforts of the ambulance crew, one of the two men on the motorbike was declared dead at the scene. The other rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he sadly died on 24 February.
The driver of the BMW was uninjured.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and remains on conditional bail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
We are continuing to appeal for witnesses to come forward to assist our investigation into the cause of the collision, particularly anyone who saw it happen; or saw the manner of driving of either vehicle between 5.30pm and the time of the collision; or who has dashcam or helmetcam footage from the immediate area between 5.30 and 6pm.
