Following a recent animal welfare warrant in Shipley Bridge where 20 dogs were seized under the Animal Welfare Act, we are now releasing images of these dogs and appealing for their owners to come forward.
On 15 April, Tandridge Safer Neighbourhood Team conducted a warrant at an address in Shipley Bridge. 20 dogs were seized under the Animal Welfare Act and now, as part of our ongoing enquiries, we are launching a public appeal to try and locate their owners.
Anyone who believes they can provide proof of ownership in relation to any of these dogs, please contact Surrey Police quoting PR/45210038723 via:
- Webchat on our website surrey.police.uk
- Online https://www.surrey.police.uk/ro/report/ocr/af/how-to-report-a-crime/
- Calling us on 101.
Please provide the owner’s name and contact details, the dog’s name and microchip number, and the number of the dog you recognise from the slideshow.
Please do not contact us with offers to rehome the dogs. As much as we appreciate your kind offers, if the dogs’ owners are not traced we have a rehoming procedure already in place.
