We are appealing for witnesses after a 10-year-old boy suffered serious head injuries following a collision with a car in Frimley yesterday morning (Wednesday 19 May).
Police were called to The Cloisters outside Willow Court around 8.45am following reports of a collision involving the boy, who was crossing the road at the time, and a black Ford Focus.
The boy was taken to hospital by air ambulance and remains in a serious condition. The boy had a bike with him at the time and officers are still trying to establish whether or not he was riding it at the time of the collision. The driver of the Ford Focus was uninjured.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.
We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has any information which could help, particularly any dashcam footage captured in the area at the time, to come forward as soon as possible.
