We are appealing for information after a teenager was left with a serious facial injury after being assaulted in Caterham in the early hours today (6 June).
Police were called to an address in Coldstream Road around 12.25am after the 16-year-old boy was attacked by another group of males following a verbal altercation after leaving a party.
The victim was punched by one of the group and then hit in the face with a bottle by another, which left him with a significant wound to his face.
The victim left the scene and was found by police who administered first aid and called an ambulance. The victim was taken to hospital for specialist treatment.
Enquiries remain ongoing to identify and locate the suspects involved.
