Officers at Spelthorne are asking residents to come and meet their local officers next Saturday (12 June) between 2pm-4pm at the Staines High Street.
This will be an opportunity to chat with the local officers about crime prevention advice, and receive a free bicycle marking with #BikeRegister. When a bike is recovered, a registered bike will be returned to its rightful owner however all too often the bike is not registered.
Registering your bike also helps the police catch more criminals as it is easier to prove if a registered bike has been stolen. The process would take less than five minutes, and will appear in the “bike register” system for your peace of mind.
