This follows an update on Friday, 23 July when a 19-year-old man from Godstone was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault in connection with the incident. He too has been released on bail, and the investigation is ongoing.
Detective Constable Michael Barker said: “I would like to thank the public for their support in relation to this appeal and their help in identifying the individuals we needed to speak to.
“We would once again like to reassure the public that this appears to be an isolated incident. We are also aware of ongoing anti-social behaviour in this particular area and understand that the local community are rightly concerned. We are working hard to tackle these issues and have increased patrols and police visibility in the area.”
