We’re appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a cyclist in Sunbury-on-Thames yesterday afternoon (Sunday, 15 August).
Officers were called to Lower Hampton Road in Sunbury-on-Thames at 2:10pm following reports of a collision involving a black Vauxhall Corsa Excite and a cyclist. The collision occurred at the junction between Lower Hampton Road and Harfield Road.
The cyclist was taken to St George’s Hospital and remains there with life-changing injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Lower Hampton Road and Harfield Road were closed for a short period of time whilst emergency services were on scene.
Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time.
