We’re continuing to appeal for witnesses after a collision in Shepperton earlier this month which has left one of the victims with life-changing injuries.
We would particularly like to speak to the occupants of a white BMW who were not involved in the collision but did turn around at the scene and left without realising the severity of the injuries of one of the victims. We are appealing to them to contact us as soon as possible as they may have vital information which could assist our enquiries.
Officers were called to reports of a collision between a black Volkswagen Golf and a black and green Caterham 7 Kit car on Littleton Lane on 2 October around 12.15pm.
One person was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries and a second person was taken to hospital with serious injuries. A third person was treated by paramedics at the roadside for minor injuries.
Road closures were put in place while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Sergeant Ben Grilli, who is investigating the incident, said: “The victim sadly remains unresponsive in hospital with life-changing injuries and we would like to trace the occupants of this white BMW as a matter of urgency. They were identified after someone provided some further dashcam footage and we have released the photo of their vehicle in the hope that someone will recognise it and come forward. I would like to stress that the BMW was not involved in the collision.”
Anyone with any information, particularly any dashcam footage, please contact us quoting P21212318 via:
