A 57-year-old man of Elizabeth Gardens, Sunbury-On-Thames, has been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order following a number of incidents of drunk and disorderly behaviour in Staines Town Centre.
Mark Gardner was issued with the CBO when he appeared at Staines Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (17 November).
The order prevents him from behaving in a disorderly manner that would cause any other person alarm, harassment or distress. He is also prohibited from entering Staines Town Centre and from having an open bottle of alcohol in any public place that is not licenced to sell alcohol.
The order will remain in place until 17 November 2024.
Spelthorne Borough Commander Maxine Cilia said: “Anti-social and disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated in Spelthorne, which is why we applied to the court for a Criminal Behaviour Order. We’d like to thank the members of the public who helped us to secure this order as no-one should be subjected to anti-social behaviour like this in our community.”
Breaches of the conditions of a CBO can lead to arrest. The police rely on members of the public to report this information and you can do so by calling 101 (always call 999 in an emergency). Any information you give will be treated confidentially.
