A Woking woman has pleaded guilty after being arrested for drink-driving as part of Surrey Police's Christmas crackdown.
Lydia Gibbs, 54, of Larchwood Road, Woking, was arrested on 6 December on Chobham Road in Knaphill, after crashing her car into a tree. Fortunately, no-one was hurt in the collision and she was charged with drink driving after it was determined that she had 119 mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.
Gibbs was also driving without insurance or a license.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 21 December, she was disqualified from driving for 25 months, given a community order, ordered to complete 160 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £95 in victim surcharge.
Gibbs was among 174 motorists arrested during Surrey Police’s festive crackdown on drink and drug-drivers, which ran from 1 December to 1 January.
Of those, 16 have since been convicted in court. The remaining have either been charged, released under investigation, or released without charge.

Molly May Catlin, 19, of Almners Road, Chertsey, was arrested on London Road in Guildford, on 2 December, and charged with driving with 59mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 21 December, she was disqualified from driving for 12 months (reduction should he attend a drink-driving awareness course), fined £120, ordered to pay £85 in costs and £34 in victim surcharge.
Glenda Saunders, 57, of Rutherwick Close, Horley, was arrested on Reigate Road in Hookwood, on 7 December, and charged with driving with 58mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 4 January, she was disqualified from driving for 36 months, fined £370, ordered to pay £85 in costs and £37 in victim surcharge.
David Pendry, 57, of Meadowlands, Addlestone, was arrested on Queens Road in Weybridge on 5 December, and charged with failure to provide a breath sample for evidential analysis.
At Staines Magistrates Court on 20 December, he was disqualified from driving for 17 months, given a community order, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £95 in victim surcharge.
Stuart White, 47, of Badgerwood Drive, Camberley, was arrested on the same road on 3 December and charged with failure to provide a breath sample for evidential analysis.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 21 December, he was disqualified from driving for 30 months, given a community order, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £95 in victim surcharge.
Muralishar-Rao Nittur, 51, of Pinewood Avenue, New Haw, was arrested on the A3 on 7 December and charged with driving with 76mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 4 January, he was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £1150, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £115 in victim surcharge.
Hannah Goodchild, 32, of Molesey Road, Hersham, was arrested on Queens Road in Hersham on 8 December and charged with driving with 87mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in her system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 4 January, she was disqualified from driving for 22 months, fined £340, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £34 in victim surcharge.
David Cullinane, 64, of Jessamy Road, Weybridge, was arrested on Burwood Road in Weybridge on 7 December and charged with driving with 64mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Staines Magistrates Court on 10 January, he was disqualified from driving for 22 months, fined £440, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £34 in victim surcharge.
Simon Niland, 50, of Chertsey Road in Shepperton, was arrested on Walton Lane in Shepperton on 10 December and charged with driving with 41mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Staines Magistrates Court on 10 January, he was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £615, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £62 in victim surcharge.
Matthew Beacom, 42, of Nicolson Way, Sevenoaks, was arrested on Moor Lane, Lingfield, on 13 December and charged with driving with 111mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 10 January, he was disqualified from driving for 26 months, ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £95 in victim surcharge.
Daniel Phillips, 29, of Redstone Manor in Redhill, was arrested on the nearby Redstone Hill on 14 December and charged with driving with 76mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 10 January, he was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £500, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £50 in victim surcharge.
Jamie Gibbs, 50, of Lower Court Road in Epsom, was arrested on Horton Hill in Epsom on 15 December and charged with driving with 63mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 10 January, he was disqualified from driving for 20 months, fined £140, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £34 in victim surcharge.
Blegu Bodgan-Alexandru, 36, of Church Lane, Aldershot, was arrested on Station Road in Farnham on 15 December and charged with driving with 49mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 10 January, he was disqualified from driving for 38 months, fined £500, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £50 in victim surcharge.
Grzegorz Dziemianczuk, 55, of Wyld Way in Wembley, was arrested on Cranleigh Road on 17 December and charged with failure to provide a breath sample for evidential analysis.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 11 January, he was disqualified from driving for 17 months, given a community order, ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £95 in victim surcharge.
Timothy Smith, 45, of Winstanley Road in Portsmouth, was arrested on the A3 in Ripley on 19 December and charged with driving with 53mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 11 January, he was disqualified from driving for 13 months, fined £500, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £50 in victim surcharge.
Sam Collis, 35, of Meadow Walk in Tadworth, was arrested on Merland Rise in Tadworth on 19 December and charged with driving with 111mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 11 January, he was disqualified from driving for 23 months, given a community order, ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £95 in victim surcharge.
Delfino Da Corte Gomez, 47, of Lorraine Road in Camberley, was arrested on Caesars Camp Road on 19 December and charged with driving with 68mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.
At Guildford Magistrates Court on 11 January, he was disqualified from driving for 36 months, fined £200, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and £34 in victim surcharge.
