The cyclist who died following a collision with a car on Chessington Road, Ewell on December 8 has been named as Kenneth Vercruyssen, 36, from Epsom.
In a statement, his family paid tribute to him:
“Words cannot describe how devastated we are at the loss of our dear son, brother and uncle. Kenneth was cherished by so many people surrounding him. He was an incredible chef and often enjoyed creating new wonderful dishes for family and friends. He was incredibly generous and he had a humble attitude and a smile that could light up a room. Kenneth would do his best to make everyone smile. His death has been unbearable for the family. We would like to thank all our family and friends for their incredible support they have shown at this time. Their help has been invaluable.”
Our thoughts remain with Kenneth’s family at this difficult time.
The investigation into the collision remains ongoing and we are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact us.
