Witness appeal following fatal collision in Dorking

We are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Dorking on Saturday (15 January).

Officers were called to Reigate Road, Dorking following a collision involving a motorcyclist and a car which had occurred shortly before 8:10am.

The motorcyclist, a man in his early twenties was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, who stopped at the scene, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released under investigation.

We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it to contact us with any further information or dashcam footage.
