Witness appeal following serious assault in Tadworth

We are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Tadworth last night (25 January).

Officers were called to Waterfield Preston Lane in Tadworth at around 11pm last night following reports of a man being seriously assaulted. Multiple officers were in attendance including Armed Response Officers as well as the air ambulance service.

The victim, who received multiple stab wounds was taken to hospital where he remains. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 40-year-old man from Epsom has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
