Witness appeal following serious collision on M3

We are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle collision on the M3 this evening (12 January). 

Officers were called between Junction 2 and Junction 3 near Longcross Road Bridge at around 8:20pm tonight following reports of a serious collision involving one vehicle. 

The driver has been taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. 

Emergency services remain at the scene and the M3 between Junction 2 and Junction 3 remains temporarily shut.

Officers are working to safely relieve the traffic and we thank those affected for their patience.
