Appeal for witnesses following assault at pub in Sunbury-on-Thames

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault at the Grizzly Bear pub in Sunbury-on-Thames in the early hours of this morning (20 February).

Officers were called to the pub on Nursery Road shortly after midnight, following reports of a large fight breaking out involving around 15 people.

On arrival, a man was found with injuries to his head. He was treated by paramedics and his injuries are not deemed to be life-changing. 

A 43-year old man from Sunbury-on-Thames has been arrested in connection with this assault. He has since been released under investigation. 

Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or have any further information to contact us.
