Runnymede Safer Neighbourhood Team, working alongside ASB Specialist Kim Baker, have secured a five year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) against an 18-year-old following a number of incidents of anti-social behaviour within Runnymede.
Jaden Urquhart, of High Street in Addlestone, was issued with a CBO when he appeared at Staines Magistrates Court on Tuesday (8 February).
The conditions of the CBO prohibit him from harassing or causing distress towards any person in the borough or being in the company of anyone under the age of 17 without the consent of the child’s guardians. Urquhart is also restricted from entering the area in red on the map along with Addlestone Railway station and any rail network owned land within Runnymede.
The order will remain in place until 8 February 2027.
SNT Sergeant Betts said ''My team and I have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to ASB and will persistently and relentlessly pursue offenders. No one should be a victim of ASB and we want to ensure residents of Runnymede feel safe to live, work and go about their business.
“This order should reassure the community we take ASB very seriously and we would urge anyone who identifies breaches of this order to report it to us either on 999 if an emergency, or by messaging us online or calling 101 if it’s not an emergency.”
