We are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Caterham last night (15 February).
Officers were called to a residential address on Rook Lane at around 10.26pm following reports of two men breaking in.
The suspects entered the property by smashing the rear patio doors of the house. It is not yet known if anything was taken but the victims have been left very shaken.
The first suspect has been described as around 6’ tall, of slim build with a fair complexion and in his late teens/early 20’s. He was wearing two hoods, a dark coloured hoodie, a black coloured snood pulled up over his face, a dark coat and tracksuit bottoms with white piping down the side.
The second suspect ran straight upstairs so was not really seen but he was believed to be shorter in height, wearing dark clothing with a hood up.
