Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Guildford yesterday (February 9).
Officers were called to Woodbridge Road, outside Lidl at 11.55am following reports of a collision between a black Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50’s, was crossing the road on the pedestrian crossing when he was in collision with the Fiesta.
The male pedestrian sustained serious head injuries and sadly died at the scene. The driver of the Fiesta and his passenger were both taken to hospital suffering with serious but none life threatening injuries.
Surrey Police is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it to come forward.
