Appeal for witnesses following sexual assault in Chertsey

We are appealing for witnesses after a sexual assault in Chertsey on Friday, 11 February 2022.

An 18-year-old woman was walking in Gogmore Farm Park at around 9:50pm when she was approached by the suspect. He touched her inappropriately and exposed himself. The woman managed to get away and continue walking.

A 31-year-old man from Chertsey was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault by touching and has since been released on police conditional bail.

We would like to speak to a man and a woman seen in the area between 9:50pm and 10:10pm at the time of the assault, who may have witnessed what happened and might be able to help with our enquiries.
