Can you help our investigation into an assault in a Guildford pub garden in the early hours of Thursday morning?

Surrey Police is appealing for information after a man was assaulted in the garden of the Five and Lime pub on Leapdale Road, Guildford.

The attack happened shortly after 12.30am on Thursday, 10 March. Passing police officers were flagged down by a member of the public, and when they arrived they found the victim with a deep cut to his eye.

We believe the suspect was part of a group of eight men, one of whom was wearing a white jumper.
