We are appealing for witnesses after the attempted robbery of a woman in her 80s on Friday 15 April, in Farnham.
The incident occurred outside the Post Office on West Street at around 11.50am, and involved two women in their twenties approaching the victim and pretending to be from a charity for the deaf. They then grabbed her arm and attempted to take her watch off of her wrist. Luckily the victim was able to deter them by shouting and drawing attention from passerby's. The two women then left the scene without the watch.
The suspects are described as White, around 25-years-old, with dark brown hair in ponytails and wearing t-shirts.
We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the attempted robbery, driven past near the time with dash-cam footage, or saw or heard anything suspicious, to contact us and assist with our investigation. If you have any information, please contact us quoting PR/45220039862 via:
