We’re appealing for witnesses after two people, a man and a woman, were assaulted in Woking last Wednesday (30 March).
Both assaults happened on Chertsey Road, where a man was seen to punch a woman whilst she was in her car at around 9.30pm. The same man then punched a member of the public who had tried to intervene in the assault several times to the face before leaving the area.
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm. He has been released on police bail.
