Witness appeal following serious assault in Wisley
Main article content
We are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot in the eye with a pellet in Wisley on Saturday night (2 April).
The victim went to the Ockham Common Boldermere car park in his black Citroen Relay van with the intention of sleeping overnight before travelling north. At around 11pm he heard two bangs and when he got out of his van to move to the driver’s side, he was shot in the eye with a pellet.
The victim was treated at hospital and is currently unable to see out of his right eye. His recovery is expected to take three to four months and there is no guarantee his sight will be restored.
At the time of the assault the victim was facing towards the café and he noted there were two other vehicles in the car park. Were you the drivers of those vehicles? If so, we would like to hear from you.
