We’re appealing for witnesses after a large quantity of cash was stolen from a car parked at Sainsbury’s in Farnham on 6 April.
Before parking at Sainsbury’s, the victim had withdrawn money from Lloyd’s bank in Farnham town centre at around 1.45pm. She then drove to Sainsbury’s on Water Lane, and whilst in the supermarket, her car was broken into and the cash was stolen.
The victim noticed a man wearing a black face mask, a black hat and black clothing, who was both in Lloyd's bank and in the supermarket car park, and may have known she had cash in her car.
We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a man matching this description behaving suspiciously in the area, and in particular, we'd like to speak to a member of the public who we believe witnessed the incident.
