Family issue tribute following fatal collision on M3

The family of a couple who were killed in a single-vehicle collision on the M3 last Wednesday (20 July) have paid tribute.

Officers were called to the collision which took place between junctions 2 and 3 westbound at around 12.45am. Sadly, despite best efforts of paramedics, two people were declared dead at the scene.

They have been named as Mrs Amal Yassine, 67, and Dr Hatem Yassine, 69, from Oxford.

In a statement, their family paid tribute to them: “They leave behind a huge hole in the hearts of their four beloved children, as well as their grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters.”
