Officers were called following reports that a woman had been robbed at knifepoint on Kent Road, East Molesey on Friday, 26 August.
The victim was walking along the road at around 7.30pm when she was approached by three men all dressed in black. Feeling intimidated, she went to cross the road but was stopped by one of the suspects who revealed what looked like a knife in the waistband of his trousers and told her to give him everything she had. The victim handed over her purse containing her wallet and house keys. The men then left heading towards Vine Road.
The first male has been described as of skinny build and wearing a black hoodie with grey across the back of the shoulders, black tracksuit bottoms with a grey stripe to the knee.
The second male has been described as of a very large build, wearing a black hoodie with white down the front and a white emblem on the left of his chest. He was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms with solid grey stripes all the way down and black trainers.
The third male has been described as of skinny build wearing white trainers, black tracksuit bottoms, a black hoodie which had a light colour around the neckline but a black hood.
L/Detective Constable, Adam Herne, said: "We would like to remind the public that incidents such as this are rare and that we are doing all we can to locate the suspects."
