Witness appeal after collision in Bookham

We are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Bookham earlier today (28 October).

Officers were called to Guildford Road in Bookham at around 3:50pm this afternoon after reports of a collision involving two cars and a horse and rider.

The horse rider has been taken to hospital and their next of kin have been informed. 

Update 11:15pm (28 October): The A246 Guildford Road has now reopened.

We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or the moments leading up to it, to contact us with any further information or dashcam footage.
