We’re appealing for witnesses following a collision in Guildford this morning (4 October).
At around 9.15am officers were called to a collision between a van and a pedestrian on Aldershot Road. A 64-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries. His next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers.
Aldershot Road is currently closed at the junction with Northway. There is still access to Aldershot Road via Southway for vehicles travelling towards Fairlands. Please avoid the area and we will provide an update as soon as we can.
If you witnessed the collision and have any information which may help our investigation, or any dashcam footage, please contact us quoting PR/P22207630:
If you do not wish to leave your name, please call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
