We're appealing for witnesses following an indecent exposure along the Basingstoke Canal path in Woking at around 7.55am this morning (20 October).
A teenage girl was walking along the canal path, close to Redding Way, when a man stopped in front of her and sexually exposed himself.
He’s described as White, with tanned skin, around 5ft 5 in height and between 30-40 years old. He was wearing joggers and a blue baseball cap.
We need to speak to anyone who may have information, including CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time, which could assist with our enquiries.
Borough Commander for Woking Nell Rodriguez said: “It’s vitally important that we speak to anyone who thinks they saw someone matching the description of the suspect in the area this morning, or has CCTV or dashcam of the area at the time.
“Indecent exposure is an incredibly serious offence and behaviour which will absolutely not be tolerated. I would encourage anyone with information to call us via 101 or webchat on our website quoting PR/45220113077.”
